Grow Your Side Gig!
So here's the thing.
There is LOADS of good advice out there in the great, big online world regarding this subject.
But I'm going to be real with you!
Yes, it’s true that you really only have two options. You can either 1. Put in the time and effort OR 2. Pay someone else to do the work for you.
it’s all about displacement of time & priorities.
Through my experience, I've learned that you must decide if what you’ve got going on right now is going to suffice until something shifts for you. Decide if you’re able to dedicate more time and energy to your side job, or if you’re even truly passionate about your side job.
Once you ask yourself that question, and give yourself an honest answer (that’s based SOLELY on YOUR desires, not someone else’s expectations of you), then you’ll know which direction to move in.
I’m not saying that you should quit your full-time gig to blindly start trying to grow and scale your business. Well, that’s what I did... and it’s worked out ok for me! BUT, I would never tell someone that that’s what they “SHOULD” do.
You "SHOULD" do whatever you feel most connected to and aligned with.
With that being said, here are 3 ways to build a biz from the ground up!
1. Do it yourself. It takes LOTS of time, and a little bit of funds to put systems into place. But figuring everything out by yourself and FOR yourself can be rewarding. Especially once you see that $$$ rolling in! If you have it in you, great! If not, you have some other options.
2. Hire a coach that can help you get your biz started. Confide in someone who is experienced in business and someone you can connect with on a deeper level energetically. This takes less time, but depending on the coach or mentor, it can be a little spendy. I'm a coach myself, but I've always thought that investing in support is so important, no matter the stage you're at in your business. Read more about my thoughts on investing in support here!
3. Outsource the whole job. This obviously will take much less time on your part, but is likely to be the MOST expensive option out of the three. Be realistic about your ability to commit. If you find it nearly impossible to get sh*t done, I highly recommend outsourcing.
